Jingle Belles Creature Christmas

Hello! I'm sitting here multitasking, trying to finish up last minute details for our Halloween costumes and creating my card for the current Jingle Belles challenge!!! Talk about being all over the place!!! Stef and Lauren have another fun challenge( click here for the challenge) for us ..... use creatures for our card .... think peguins, polar bears, reindeer and if you're Lauren, Monstas! Hmmmm, they all sound good , but what about birds? I have these border stamps that I got last year and they've seen little ink, so I really need to put them to good use......check it out:

Nothing too fancy here , just some papers from Basic Grey's Nordic Holiday collection, some red/white twine, button and of course the stamped greeting. The stamp set came from Michels' Christmas collection last year. I colored the birds with my Copics... so simple!

So that's my card for the Creature Christmas challenge... hope you enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by!

Trick Or Treat

Hello! Do you have all your treats ready for Halloween.... or are you like me and like to wait until the last minute to get those treat bags ready for when those lil trick-or-treaters come knocking on your door. Luckily for me , my son has a really small class so I can do it the night before!! I have my goodies bought ( now I just need to resist eating them!!!), so I geuss I'm almost ready and I still have lots of time before the big night!!
But , meanwhile, I have been busy getting my papercrafting treats made. like this card and treat container I made for my son's teacher.....

I had so much fun making these! Of course, my Cricut came in handy making the little treat box from the Artiste cartridge. I used a new technique I found on Splitcoastsatmpers forum called Twisted Card - you can search YouTube to find the tutorial for this really easy technique.

The spider was also cut from the Artiste cart. I stamped this potion label from CTMH's Magic Potion's set.

The tree and fence were cut from the  Mini Monsters cartridge and the vampire is from a Michael's stamp set , which I colored with my Copic markers.

The insidehas a pocket that  holds a giftcard. The sentiment is from SU's Fang-tastic set ( retired, I think). The papers are from a 6X6 minipad called Oct31 from Fancy Pants Designs. The orange dotted paper is from my stash.

A close up of the giftcard /tag.

I even decorated the back with more Fancy Pants paper!

I'm entering this project over at Shopping Our Stash Trick Or Treat challenge.

A Pink Christmas

Hi again! I made this card last week for the Jingle Belles challenge . Lauren and Stef are dedicating this fortnight's challenge to Breast Cancer awareness (please visit their blog for more details). For every card made a donation will be made for breast cancer research ( aren't those ladies awesome or what!!!). So here's my card .....

I kept my card very simple.... I just used a snowflake embossing folder , lots of pink cardstock , some sheer ribbon and a little bling, 'cause I'm pretty sure this card will be given to a girlfriend! The sentiment is from CTMH , inked in pink, of course!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and help Stef and Lauren in raising money for such a worthy cause!

Authentique Halloween

Hello!  I love those sites that have daily specials on scrapping supplies. I recently got a great deal on a Halloween kit from Authentique Paper over at Scrapbook Steals This kit has got so many goodies to play with.... lots of heavy weight patterned paper, cardstock elements, stickers and even a spooky alphabet sheet! I used my kit to make a few different projects like these.....

I made a fall banner awhile ago but now that Halloween is just around the corner , I thought I'd change my display to celebrate this fun holiday! I made this banner using supplies from my Authentique Halloween kit and my Artiste /Cricut. The ribbon is froim Michaels.

Here's a closer view of the banner... you can see how I used the cardstock elements to accent the letters.

I then decided to make a scrappage ...........

I still have lots left over .... hmmm, maybe I'll make a mini album!!!

Anyhoo... thanks for stopping by today.... have a great weekend!

Witchy Girl Halloween card

Hello! This is just a quick post to share with you a Halloween card I made for my godchild , using my Cricut Imagine and It's a Child's Year cartridge.

The witch is colored in using a black script color from the Audrey Cartridge. It coordinated quite well with the vintage looking pumpkin paper that I used for the card front, don't ya think?!! That fun little purple border was bought at Michaels and trimmed to fit , well sort of! I just had to add some bling to this card.... just a couple of purple rhinestones to the border and a greeting sticker to finish this off! The only stamping was for the inside!!!
So , that's my quick and simple card- hope you've enjoyed!
